Our Labour Values
The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour, we achieve more than we achieve alone so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few, where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe, and where we live together, freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect
About Me
- Gorton CLP Youth and Students Officer
- Hi, I am Adele and am the Youth and Students Officer for Gorton CLP. My job is to get young people involved in the constituency. We believe in the values of social justice, equality and collectivity. We work closely with Manchester Labour students as well as the local party. Essentially we campaign to keep Manchester Labour controlled and to keep a Labour Government, which has been so vital for Manchester's renaissance. Heading towards May 2007 we will be working with Labour Students on the Child Poverty campaign and getting out in the constituency to work for labour gains in Manchester.
